From Beckley, WV to Carnifex Ferry Cottages

Take exit 48 off I-77. This should be marked US 19 NORTH and SUMMERSVILLE.

Take US RT. 19 NORTH about 35 minutes, until you see a sign that says

• SUMMERSVILLE DAM
• GAULEY RIVER N.R.A.
• CARNIFEX BATTLEFIELD

when you see this sign, you make a left on to STATE RT. 129 WEST.

Follow RT. 129 WEST 5.7 miles until you reach CARNIFEX FERRY RD. Turn LEFT.

Follow CARNIFEX FERRY RD 6/10 of a mile and you will see the sign for CARNIFEX FERRY COTTAGES on your left.
