From Beckley, WV to Driftwood Lodge

Take exit 48 off of I-77. This should be marked US RT. 19 NORTH and SUMMERSVILLE.

Take US RT. 19 NORTH about 35 minutes until you come to a traffic light. This will be the second traffic light you will have seen since you left the town of Fayetteville.

Turn LEFT off US RT. 19 at this light.

As soon as you turn right the road will fork. BEAR RIGHT AT THE FORK. You will immediately see a red gate that says Lakeview Hts./Private Rd. Go down the hill on the paved road past this gate approximately 6/10 of a mile. Go slow! The road ends abruptly!

At the end of the paved road, TURN RIGHT on to a gravel road. Follow this gravel road about 2/10 of a mile until the road forks again. BEAR LEFT.

You will make a HARD LEFT at this point and you will be going back up the hill approximately 2/10 of a mile more. The cottage is the SECOND place you will encounter on your LEFT. It has a very large gate that says DRIFTWOOD LODGE on top of it.
